This morning on our errands run, Owen and I stopped at the drive-in, squirt your car as fast as you can and scrub it down with the same vigor while hoping you don't run out of quarters with soap still on the car, car wash. He was an angel sitting in his car seat and laughing at me squirting the car down. But what really made this an enjoyable trip to the car wash was the lovely latin lady blarring cumbia music from her astro van and dancing around her car while washing it. I had not heard true cumbia since argentina and the shshshshsh sound made washing the jeep all the more fun. Plus who doens't love them an astro van, ours had a serious personality.Try and get that kind of entertainment in summerlin!

Ooh, ooh
You might not ever get rich
But let me tell ya
It's better than diggin' a ditch
There ain't no tellin' who you might meet
A movie star or maybe even a Indian Chief
(Workin')
At the car wash
Workin' at the car wash, girl
Come on and sing it with me
(Car wash)
Sing it with the feelin' ya'll
(Car wash, girl)
Some of the work gets kinda hard
This ain't no place to be
If you planned on bein' a star
Let me tell you it's always cool
And the boss don't mind sometimes
If ya act the fool
At the car wash
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa
Talkin' about the car wash, girl
Come on, ya'll and sing it for me
(Car wash)
Oooh, oooh, oooh
(Car wash, girl)
(Work and work)
Well, those cars never seem to stop coming
(Work and work)
Keep those rags and machines humming
(Work and work)
My fingers to the bone
(Work)
Can't wait till it's time to go home
(Hey, get your car washed today)
Fill up and you don't have to pay
Come on and give us a play
(Do the wash, right away)
(Car wash)
Talkin' 'bout the car wash
Car wash, girl
Come on, ya'll, let's sing it with me
(Car wash)
Sing it with feelin', ya'll
(Car wash, girl)
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa
(Car wash)
Never seem to stop comin'
What'd I say
Keep those rags and machines hummin'
Cute story Jammmmmie! Now come visit in you clean car.
Have you ever been with us when we had Max in the car at the car wash??? Probably one of the funniest experiences of my life. Give Owen a kiss and a pinch from his Emmie.
I do a regular ghetto car wash yearly and lemme tell you, I love me yhe people watchin. There is always someone interesting, amazing, or just plain crazy at the local do-it-yourself place. By the way, your Owen is lookin mighy cute these days. I just wanna drive out to see you and pinch his chubby little cheeks!
